Marc-Oliver Hauswald is the new managing director of the JadeWeserPort marketing company
Wilhelmshaven – Yesterday Marc-Oliver Hauswald succeeded Andreas Bullwinkel as Managing Director of Container Terminal Wilhelmshaven JadeWeserPort-Marketing GmbH & Co. KG. Mr Bullwinkel, who will retire after a handover period following many years of professional activity, was at the helm of the JadeWeserPort marketing company from 2013.
Marc-Oliver Hauswald, date of birth 18 May1969, graduated in economics with focusses on corporate accounting and controlling as well as project management. He has around 20 years of operational and strategic management experience in the international logistics industry, specialising in port management, shipping, freight forwarding and other port-related services. In addition to his financial background, Mr Hauswald has been particularly active in the strategic further development of companies and has repeatedly founded port companies at home and abroad, successfully placing them in the market.
Born in Bremen, he started his professional career in management consulting and after seven years switched to the logistics industry, to which he has remained true to this day. His previous professional positions include Rhenus, Buss-Ports, Imperial Logistics and the international project forwarding company Hansa Meyer Global.
Olaf Lies, Lower Saxony’s Minister of Economic Affairs and Chairman of the company’s Supervisory Board said: “I would like to thank Andreas Bullwinkel very much for his work in marketing the JadeWeserPort and further developing the freight village. He will leave a big gap. I am all the more pleased that we have been able to recruit Marc-Oliver Hauswald, an experienced logistics expert in the maritime port industry, to succeed him. I wish him all the best and much success in his new role.”
